Quantum Computing - A Threat to Data Confidentiality
There will likely be an increase er this decade in the theft of data that can be used for quantum simulators. Organizations with this sort of data that attackers seek tend to be involved in research and development related work. While quanta may not pose a direct threat to most organizations for at least a decade, developing and deploying certain critical mitigations like post quantum incription will also likely take at least a 10 years.
