The Importance of Fiscal Policy in Fighting Inflation
Fiscal policy has not been enough front and center in the discussion. With the U.S. spending so much link to mandatory spending, it's a political football that nobody really wants to carry. We have an aging demographic, and those older workers who left the workforce are not coming back. The prime age participation rate in the workforce is up; we've seen an increase in immigration.
