What Is a Christian?
The Bible never minimizes suffering, but what it does is give us resources by which we can face suffering. Paul says our present suffering is not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed. A Christian is someone who lives in the overlap between suffering and glory. Galatians chapter 5: The evidence of the spirit's work in a person's life is love, joy, peace, patience, faithfulness, gentleness & self-control.
