Is the World Cup a Force for Good?
Andy Townsend: Football as a force for good in quotes is now just part of the branding. But I do want to stress that, you know, I wasn't on the ground in Qatar. This is not a comment about we don't want the World Cup to go to an Arab country. It was a comment on the amount of deaths leading up to the tournament,. Having to spend over 200 billion, which just seemed quite wrong. And before the final infantino dodged the question of a compensation fund and simply said "we are defending human rights"
