Mysha Utrich is the editor of Jack-A-Bent Magazine. His book in the Chicago Teachers Union Strike for austerity was published in 2014 by Verso. He says having a militant, democratic, progressive-minded Teachers Union that goes on strike repeatedly has been key to its success. "It's not exactly a complicated model, it is a model that other cities could replicate," he says.
