The Celestials Aren't Perfect
"It's a very confused, like, kind of humanist story in that it's like there's this god that's created everything," says Luterd. "The more you digest what it's trying to say, the more confusing i think it gets and the less coherent the ideas become." The ending was also pretty weird, where the celestial er, after they prevent the celestial from being born and save humanity, the original celestial comes down and he takes them up into space for other eternals. 'I'm not sure if it's supposed to set up a sequel,' adds Luterd 'it just emphasized that the film didn't really have a concrete answer.'
