The Risen Approach to Race in America
John: I take issue with mister mc waterp's thesis only in so far as he very literally treats wokism as a religion. And it does mimic a secular faith in many ways, but it takes a derisive view of religiosity and applies it in a way that i think limits the utility of his thesis. What i argue in my forthcoming book is that it mimics the secular faith in soFar as it is a life style choice and a moral code,. But it is not a religious practice per se. It is aesthetically religious. Its traditions are aesthetically religious, but that is not a religion.
