I'd be interested to hear how you think that this can be applied to these kinds of countries. I very much see that we're entering a period of systemic competition between democracies and autocracies but as you rightly say that simplification it lied to the variation that actually exists within those different regime types. The question that I'm looking at really here is not only how to be revived the hope of progress and international affairs which was one of the driving forces behind liberalism and the original idealism. But also how do we bring that to the domestic sphere? We are close on 200 years after the sort of political instantiation of the Enlightenment via the French Revolution so love to hear your thoughts on that
