Is an olive today the same size as a biblical olive? Ooh, that's a really interesting question. I would guess that over time farmers have figured out how to grow crops a little bit bigger. Some Jews say that with every generation we are moving further away from Eden. There's actually a Jewish tradition that sees ancient people as halfway between people and giants. Like ancient people were massive. And that means much more matzah.
