I agree with you conceptually it's very easy but for a lot of people there's this huge blind spot with using prices a decision making cue well and this goes to the point of my work. efficient market theory is it humans are rational decision makers again a fiction like the other ideas but a fiction that influenced what people pay attention to in their daily lives. I've been doing 23 presentations across Japan Hong Kong Singapore Malaysia in front of sovereign wealth funds hedge fund managers mutual fund managers who just don't wrap their arms around it.
