Labour's Response to the Mini-Budget
The Office for Budget Responsibility confirms global factors are the primary cause of current inflation. Most countries are still dealing with a fallout from a once-in-a-century pandemic. The lasting impact on supply chains has made goods more expensive and fuelled inflation. This has been made worsened by a made-in-Russia energy crisis. Labour hasn't been shy in making the point that if you compare our growth with other developed countries, we're bottom of the chart.
