The Treasures of Tuton Carmoon's Tomb

The coffins themselves are quite extraordinary works of art. The innermost coffin is fashioned solid sheet gold with elaborate inlaid decoration. And each of the coffins has a mask fashioned to resemble the face of the dead king, wearing his royal head dress and with a divine beard. Was there an idea that they would look like tuton carmoon as a person, or were they more symbolic? It's a really interesting question. A most royal portraiture in ancient egypt is quite idealizing. So it's not designed to look like a specific individual, but it's designed to convey the whole notion of monarchy.
