The Far Left Candidate in the French Election
The French election also has a far left candidate. His message is essentially one of taking from the rich and giving to the poor. He's really struck a chord, especially with the under people who see their prospects rightly as being dismal. And he's promising them a rosy future of lavish government spending. So I don't want to sound like a fossil American, but this candidacy reminds me a lot of Bernie Sanders. Yeah, it is in some ways. It has that same kind of utopian dreamer aspect to it.
