venessa: I think that hope is often used as a tool of oppression. When i have had to feel hope, what iave actually been feeling is desperation. And so i've turned to hope. So it has this negative connotation for me. But when harry gives nevill hope in himself, he's now changing his own behaviour. It's such a lovely moment but also moves nevill to enact violence. She says she was raised with the mentality if somebody bullies you up ten times, hunch him in the face.
