Leah, the Unloved Wife, Is the Mother of Judah

The unloved wife is the mother of Judah and she's the mother of Levi. Even though she is the unloved wife, God blesses her in making her the mother of the tribe for whence the Messiah will come. She thinks that this child is going to be the magical key that unlocks her husband's heart but it doesn't work because he doesn't love her. And then when she has her third Levi, she says, now this time my husband will become attached to me because I have born him three sons. But what's more God shows us that his ways are not our ways. He is operating with a different agenda than we are.
