And they were still buying assets in the market as the central bank continued their loose monetary policy regime. As the federal reserve began to talk tough and then eventually raise interest rates, we have seen asset prices across markets crash. Stocks, bonds, real estate, various commodities, crypto currencies and much else, all suffering at the hands of one big trait where the federal reserve is in control.
