The Importance of Technological Determinism in the Cold War
There was a sense if you go back now of 100,000 people dying in one night in the fire bombing of Tokyo. It also has another unintended consequence which is that it allowed some Japanese after the war to begin this argument that they're the victims. The question of remembrance is an interesting one and I think to wrap up I wanted to ask you about that again it's a big question but how should we be remembering the second world war?
