I just don't think that is within Jed's plan to go out and assume the risk of an older outfielder who has historical power. Given how those guys age, Jed may not be inclined to assume that risk. And beyond the immediate need that you have on the infield, even if you don't consider shortstop a need because of Nico, you still have other positions that can be filled by these players or thus filled by moving either them or Nico. Yeah. I would imagine that maybe even the Cubs put out a shorter term offer, but I don't Think that's going to get it done. That should be 45 to 50 million per year.
