Interfaith Interactions - What Can We Learn?
Carol: What can we learn from nations that have experimented boldly and sometimes successfully with creating frameworks for groups of differing religious persuasions to live together relatively in peace. Levanon, for example, has a system where political power and government post are shared equally between christians and moslems. Several african countries such as ethiopia and nigeria have had to forge social structures that permit similar existence between moslems and christians. The three monotheistic faiths are very much more together and similar to each other than many people in one of those three to understand properly. Any one like to take that further?
