The Rise and Fall of the Anti-War Movement
In February 15th, 2003, a global peace movement or at least an anti war movement, at least quasi global and the ensuing years created Obama in a sense. Their major protests against Bush and four peace happen in late summer and or early fall of each of the following election years - 2004, 2006, 2008. So in a sense, the peace movement capitulated itself and paved the way to integrate what could have been a grand and earth shattering global movement into an appendage of an appendages of the Democratic Party paving the way for Obama.
