The Golden Principle of Kindness
My father dislikes us practicing Islam and has a different way of understanding the religion. My mother said she has tried to advise him, but he doesn't care. Are we sinful for not advising him? And what is your advice to us? Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala commanded obedience and kindness towards parents. But whenever you do need to disobey your father, you need to do that with absolute respecting kindness.
