The Rise of Special Agents in the IRS

The IRS employs 2,100 special agents that are armed. That is going to increase by 600 by the end of the year to 2,700. HHS has purchased a stunning $154 million on guns, ammunition and military style equipment since 2006. The National Institutes of Health have their own police force with over 100 police officers.
