The purpose of the second amendment is to give citizens in equilibrium with their government. The media calls us conspiracy theorists, and calls us all sorts of names when we say this. Covid lockdowns would have been far worse if it wasn't the second amendment. Because if only one side has the guns, they get a call all the shots. If you don't make this argument, then eventually the guns will be confiscated,. Eventually the gun grabbers will win the legislative fights.
