The China Hustle

I think fraud is part of some level of fraud anyway, as part of any kind of economic system having nothing specifically to do with China or anywhere else. But I think what we saw in this story in the China Hustle is that when there are no consequences and when accountability is very difficult to come by, bad actors can take advantage of it. And I take from that that we should improve and upgrade and modernize our financial system so that it keeps pace with the speed at which investments are taking place. This was a particularly egregious example and it's a big example because China's a big place and America is still a big market where a lot of capital can be raised. We have now
