I don't think that our research has led us to anything new per se you know I think every one of the things we're talking about today your listener already knows part of what I've been trying to do. One of the biggest reasons that we experience strong emotions emotions like outrage deep frustration and anger is when we feel that somebody has attacked what we believe to be sacred. People in a kind of way where you're getting them to a perspective they don't expect that they're going to be going to are relieved because it makes sense. The moment someone offends that even to the smallest degree now we experience an assault on the sacred and you are my enemy for life.
