It was a closer society many ways. And i had a lot of friends. Half of conversation would be about, it was all o shortages of everything. But everybody was always discussing what was available where and er, what you could tradeer. A lot of discussion was around how you got hold of material things. Life was starting to improve though. In there were imports of fresh fruit, for example, which was unusual. There were sort of where people were were getting better clothes, and they were starting to import cars.
