The Importance of Public Ownership

Sally Kohn: I want to talk about where public ownership fits into this all, both in terms of by dynamics and then where does it fit in your slash our vision. Why is public ownership important? Not just in terms of it being a part of the principle of economic democracy that we all believe in, but why is it important concretely for achieving decarbonization and adjust energy transition? And are there ways that all these carrots and sticks or carrots can be deployed in such a way that puts us on a path towards socializing a growing share of this capital away?
