Science and Power Adaptation
Power exerts a shape on to how the science happens, and what, what decisions eah end up coming out of. And so basically, we think of scientists as these people driven by pure curiosity. But once your in science, you discover that it is actually like very, very cutthroat bureaucracy. You have to basically be a good operator in that bureaucracy. The best are often somewhat mediocre scientists and really world class bureaucrats.
