In 1879, an author wrote that there is something fundamentally wrong in the common manner of speculation. In today's trend-following world, process versus outcome is not some new perspective put in motion in our current day. We just all fall prey to what's happening in our current world, but our current world is nothing special. People knew operating in a systematic fashion was wise in 1883.
