Diego Maradona was the greatest player on earth. And he had accepted Naples as his home. There's an element of chaos to Naples that maybe does make it feel a little bit more South American. Neapolitan dialect is completely incomprehensible. It feels a littlebit more wild as a city than then certainly some of the more kind of austere places in northern Italy.
