What's the Difference Between Catholic Theology and Christian Theology?

Is it christian theology or such as theology in general? I don't know if there's a differentiation, there would be a difference. My thesis was on stages of faith development and how they relate to sexuality. And when we start to do that is when sort of the deconstruction process starts. When people start to feel like there's a big conflict in themselves around,. i'm also feeling this way, but my church is telling me not to.
