Are the Horses Changing in Size After the Norman Conquest?
Horses seem to go slightly down in size after the norman conquest. We don't quite know why, whether that's the result of the stud network. But a fascinating thing about it is that there's very little in the documentary sources that actually tell us how big norman war horses were.
