The Curse of ACAD

The curse of ACAD is this idea that when you have these sort of benevolent or predictable environmental conditions, religious systems arise where there isn't a moralizing deity who punishes people. I can only imagine the huge task you've been through over the last few years trying to wrangle all of this material into a coherent narrative and thesis about climatic change on the planet. It's terrifying writing a book and knowing that any reader can put a one-star review on Amazon because the packaging wasn't good enough on the whole other cover. But I mean, I love what I do. So it's a joy.
