The Anterior Bundle of the Elbow Medial Ulnar Collateral Ligament

The elbow medial usial is a ligaments complex consisting of the anterior, posterior and transverse bundles. The anterior bundle provides the major contribution to valgus stability of the elbow. Anterior band of the anterior bundle exhibits an isometric strain pattern through elbow range of motion. Posteror band of the anterior bundle tightens during elbow flexion. Transverse bundle of the ulnar collateral ligament and five flexor pronator mass are dynamic stabilizer.
