The Court of Starch Chamber
The court of starch chamber was a special court created by the joint authority of the king and parliament. It met secretly behind closed doors in a room in the palace of westminster. The ceiling was painted in a classic late gothic motif of a blue sky with stars sothat's. But the court of star chamber was staffed by trained lawyers, common law judges who were educated in the common law.
