Speck Sheet Says With Peaks, You Can't Do It
A tube guitar ramp sounds much better sometimes than a transistor, because the tubes are not reproducing those vulge transients as readily. For that thing not to be distorting the amphire, you have to be down 20 d b,. which is basically taking a hundred wat amp and turned into a one wat amplifier. And so all of a sudden, if the peak is gone, the thing lights up, and you hear the fundamental for the first time.
