Ellington: I had a really hard time with cold rooms and beginning in my career, I was going to all these networking events. We decided to do a study on working a room. What most people think when they first walk into a cold room is what do I do? What do I say? Where do I stand? It's typically the first few questions that are sort of people are encountering. Ellington: People who really work the room collect the most business cards, they were able to get the most connections from cold to warm.
