The Ark of the Lord Came Into the City of David With Rejoicing
Uza put his hand to the ark of god and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled. The anger of the lord was kindled against uza. And god struck him there, because he put forth his hand tothe ark. And he died there beside the ark in parez usa - which is still known as 'parez' today. David did not take the ark into the city of david but gave it to obed edom's gittite. He then distributed among all the people a cake of bread, meat and raisins.
