The Power of Colloquial Language
One of the things that's really striking about this volume is how approachable and clear it seems to be. I don't know if this comes out of your teaching, but not every textbook or general introduction to a topic like this is necessarily written in a way that's very colloquy. Is that something that you started with in this book from the very beginning or is that something that came out of specific decisions well into the process? "I sometimes I say I've made a great deal of profit out of being extremely simple minded," she says.
