William henry irland was the son of samuel arland. He was obsessed by shakespeare and wanted to ingratiate himself with his father. Started off very small with inconsequential pieces of paper which, why on earth would you forge a bill of exchange as got no interest? Eventually he discovered a completely new play that had been written by sh Shakespeare called valtigen. All these coveries were actually all written and forged by william henries irland.
