The Disappointing Road to Test Cricket
Up until a few years ago, you could actually console yourself that you were living through a pretty good time for test cricket. Now, these ridiculous hometown pitches really mean that getting short sharp, nasty, brutish and short test matches. I don't think I've been really looking forward to that series in India, and I walked away from it with a pretty... I was glad I was over, frankly. You saw three hopeless bunsalies, and then this absolutely dismal road. Maybe if the last test match had gone on for ten days, it would have been a group of five.
