Why Leaders Dig in Hard When It Matters
Jason Rookle says Steve Jobbs' quote that it doesn't make sense to hire smart people and tell them what to do is a stupid one. He believes leaders should dig in, not just leave their staff alone when things go wrong. A leader will assume everything has to be assumed to be wrong so they can prevent you from actually doing the job due to lack of knowledge. Leaders also need to verify anything someone says because human beings don't always report exactly as they say.
