Is There a Lot of Foreclosure Activity?

This is a very different cycle than the last one we went through. I believe the majority of borrowers who find themselves in financial distress are going to be able to exit by selling their house before the foreclosure auction takes place. And so waiting around for those arios, whether you're an agent looking to list them or an investor looking to buy them, is going to dramatically limit your opportunities in this cycle. But my auction company friends tell me that the cell throug rate at auctions, at court house auctions and sheriff sales, right now is about 70 %. So seven out of ten properties that get to the auction block are selling at the auction. That's about twice the normal rate
