What the Church Did to the Templars?
Mike: I don't think the church should have been in the business of persecuting anyone, especially with the power of the state. Mike: The Templars were looking for archaeological objects that pertain to the biblical period. There was certainly Gnostic strains, Gnostic threads running through some of what they believed. We're not real happy with what happened to the Templars, even though I don't agree with their doctrine.
