The Importance of Layered Architecture in Web Design
A lot of the important stuff is invisible accessibility speed, you know, just performance that core functionality. It's hard to put that into a Jira ticket or a Trello card because I can't look at it. These things are under the hood. And also another reason why I advocate building in this layered way is that you don't end up in a situation where you build on something shaky and now you've got to try and fix the fundamentals. That's actually really, really hard.
