We Will Not Participate in the Third Debate

I think the problem with hm is the confusion of tone for content, or like, style for som like he is so combative. There has not been a conciliatory moment where he shows an inclination to sort of throw open the flaps on the tent and welcome others in. He explicitly says with things like same sex marriage, like, my version of conservatism is you should marry who you want. That seems straightforward enough to me. If what his message is is you should be able to run your life with minimal interference from the government, it seems pretty obvious that that would extend to love and marry who you like,. do what you want with your body.
