The Last 36 Hours
There was definitely a feeling of hope, a feeling of revelation that this is finally going to be over. Even as a family, like deeply affected by state violence and the violence in Northern Ireland, our big thing was we didn't want it to happen to anyone else. I've actually read that there were something like 1,200 journalists there on the day. Do you remember that day clearly? All I can remember of the last 36 hours is that we had four seasons in those 36 hours,. There was this pathetic little porter cabin for the media with one radiator inside. Let's see if we can get this over the line when Tony Blair uttered his famous words.
