Data storytelling is about taking business data and presenting it to your audience in a way that they can consume, but also get them to actually feel something. People just don't go and take action unless they feel something, right? They have to feel fear or they have to feel inspired. And look, raw numbers can get people to feel something. But you can, with numbers that aren't so extreme, but are perhaps indicative of a longer-term problem, you know, you may need to take those numbers and then layer compelling narrative and storyboarding and staging in your story.
