Sobrage drugged an entire tour group of french young tors in attempts to rob them. He was found guilty and sentenced to india's most notorious prison, thehar marie andrea with charles for her part in these crimes. She continued to deny any knowledge of the murders till the very end - she died on april twentieth 19 84. Sobrage earned money by draught icourt petitions for wealthy inmates, and then maintained his elevated status by bribing guards. According to suniel gupta, a former superintendent and legal officer at thehar, charles enjoyed special privileges, including food made according to his preferences and conjugal visits not usually afforded to inmates.
