I definitely think it's important to check the happiness meter and see you know if she really enjoying herself at these parties. I also just as the pro therapy person that I am think that having an evaluation would be helpful If this seems to be a behavior that's carrying out beyond just school birthday parties or new classroom settings then if you feel that your child could use some support in this regard then go out and get it. The fact that your daughter is still opting into these parties I think is a good sign, says Dr. Moya.
